DNS- Diploma in Nautical Science
For getting into DNS
- Apply to the various company which give sponsership to fellow candidate like:-
- Tolani Maritime Institute(TMI)- Various grade campany visit to this institute for sponsership and they have there own Company
- Anglo Eastern Maritime Insititute(AEMA)- They have their own Company name anglo Eastern.
- Great Eastern Institute(GEIMS)-They have there own campany name Great Eastern
- Training Ship Rahman( TSR)- Various company visit to this institute for sponsership
- International Maritime Institute(IMI)- Various Company visit to this institute for sponsership
- Shipping Cooperation Of India(SCI- Govt)- It has there own institute and own ships
- Seven Island Shipping( IND)- They have their own shipping company
- Indian Maritime University- If you have sponsership and company refer you to imu then only
- Clear Written Exam (Some company conduct )
- Phsycometric Exam (Conduct on the same day of written exam)
- Interview Clear it.( Company prefered fresher)
- Medical
- IMU- CET(Compulsary and getting a good rank is necessary to get sponsership. Early imu-cet conducted twice in a year. From 2022 conduct once in a year on Jun-July.
- IF you clear all the exam mention above then company will send a offer letter to you.
Eligibility For DNS
- 12th passed with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with aggregate 60% in PCM (Prefer 70%) from a recognized board
- 50% in English in 10th or 12th (Prefer 55%)
- Eye Sight 6/6 ( If not you can do lasik Surgery before Medical)
- Medically Fit
- BMI Max. 25 allowed
- Both Male and Female
- Unmarried
- Age should be minimum 17 and Max. 25 (Prefer 17-21)
B.Sc Nautical Science
For Getting into B.SC Nautical Science
- Apply for the college which has B.SC Nautical Science course like:-
- Amet University :- It provide sponsership to the candidate who are opting for B.SC.It has it own entrance exam Amet-SAT
- Tolani Maritime Academy- It has it's own entrance examination TMI-SAT
- Training Ship Rahman- It has it's own entrance exam
- Indian Maritime University- To get into this you need to just clear IMU CET and if you get good rank you will get it.
- T.S Chanakya : Admission through imu counselling
- Clear Entrance Examination
- Clear IMU-CET with good rank
Eligibilty for B.SC Nautical Science
- 12th passed with PCM with 60% aggregate in PCM from a recognized board or Graduation in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with 50% aggregate in final year from a recognized university.
